A variable speed drive, VSD, provides speed control of a three-phase induction motor in a wide variety of industrial applications. By providing precise control of the motor’s speed and torque a VSD improves efficiency and saves energy by meeting the process needs precisely.

WEG CFW11 VSD is state of the art vector control of motor speed, or torque, in closed loop or sensorless modes.
• From 1.5kW to 370kW, 380 – 480V AC, +10%, -15%.
• Normal Duty rating – 110% overload for 1 minute/10 minutes & 150% overload for 3 seconds/10 minutes
• Heavy Duty rating – 150% overload for 1 minute/10 minutes & 200% overload for 3 seconds/10 minutes
• Enclosure ratings of IP21 or IP54
• Flange mount heatsink option on units enclosed to IP21
• Ambient temperature of 50°C (frame size A to D) and 45°C (frame size E to G) with a maximum temperature rating of 60°C and 55°C respectively
• Graphic display with soft key programming and parameter copy/paste function
• Patented Optimalflux® that runs the W22 motor cooler by up to 11%, negating the need for forced cooling for applications operating from 10% to 50% speed with 100% torque requirement from the motor.
• Onboard USB port for connectivity to a PC with Superdrive G2 software
• Flash memory module for parameter backup and transfer
• Real time clock providing date stamped troubleshooting data
• Safe stop input option for EN954-1, category III
